Larry Nassar, former USA Gymnastics team doctor, Brutally stabbed in prison

Larry Nassar, the former USA Gymnastics team doctor, was brutally stabbed in prison. According to a reliable source, Nassar endured six knife wounds to his back and neck during the Sunday afternoon attack. The injuries inflicted upon him are described as “substantial,” and there are concerns about a possible collapsed lung.

Despite the severity of the assault, Nassar is currently in stable condition, as confirmed by two sources familiar with the situation. The Bureau of Prisons has acknowledged that an inmate was assaulted at the United States Penitentiary Coleman II, a high-security federal facility located in Florida. Fortunately, no other individuals were harmed during the incident.

Authorities have identified a fellow inmate as the primary suspect and are diligently reviewing evidence, including video footage, to determine if anyone else was involved in the attack. It has been revealed that the staff members responsible for guarding Nassar were working overtime, partly due to staffing shortages within the Bureau of Prisons.

Nassar, who had been serving his sentences totaling hundreds of years at USP Coleman, was confined to a unit housing inmates convicted of sexual assault. This specific placement was in line with his conviction on state and federal charges related to the sexual assault of members of the USA gymnastics team.
