Madonna’s manager, Guy Oseary, announced that the singer has postponed her Celebration tour due to a “serious bacterial infection.”  She was found unresponsive and was rushed to a New York City hospital on June 25.  She spent a night in the ICU.

The 64-year-old singer’s family was initially concerned about her condition, fearing the worst. She remains under medical care, but a full recovery is expected.

World Tour:

Madonna’s world tour was supposed to last seven months and showcase songs from her 40-year career. The tour was originally scheduled to begin in Vancouver on July 15, but new start dates have not been announced yet.

Tickets for her shows in major cities like New York, London, Paris, and Amsterdam sold out quickly.

The tour, produced by Live Nation, was planned to include about 40 cities across North America and Europe.
