Djokovic Overcomes Hurkacz’s Big Serve to Reach Wimbledon Quarterfinals

Novak Djokovic overcame a tough challenge from Hubert Hurkacz in the fourth round of Wimbledon on Monday, winning 7-6(6), 7-6(6), 5-7, 6-4.

Djokovic was critical of his own performance on return games, saying he “didn’t recall being so helpless.”

However, he was able to break Hurkacz’s serve in the seventh game of the fourth set to secure the victory.

Djokovic will next face Andrey Rublev in the quarterfinals.

Rublev is a dangerous opponent, with one of the best forehands in the game. However, Djokovic is confident that he can win.

“I have lots of respect for Rublev,” Djokovic said. “He’s one of the most consistent players on all surfaces. I’m looking forward to the challenge.”
