In her early life, Trinity was born in Newport Beach, California, to her mother, Michelle Moyer, and her father, former professional basketball player Dennis Rodman. Raised primarily by her mother in Southern California alongside her brother, DJ Rodman, she also shares a close relationship with her half-sister, Alexis Rodman.

Trinity’s passion for soccer ignited at the tender age of four, and by the time she was seven or eight, soccer had become her true passion and calling.

Encouraged and supported by her mother and sister, she pursued her dream of becoming a professional soccer player with unwavering determination.

Trinity’s journey to the elite level of soccer began at the age of ten when she joined the SoCal Blues.

Her remarkable skills led her team to four national championships in the Elite Clubs National League (ECNL), maintaining an unbeaten streak for five years.

After playing at Corona del Mar High School for a year, she transferred to JSerra Catholic High School in San Juan Capistrano, although she did not compete for the school team.

Initially committing to play collegiate soccer for the UCLA Bruins, Trinity’s plans changed due to the COVID-19 pandemic.

Subsequently, she decided to follow her older brother’s path and join the Washington State Cougars in 2020. However, her college debut never materialized as she chose to turn professional after her freshman season was canceled.

Her professional career took off when the Washington Spirit drafted her as their first pick (second overall) in the 2021 NWSL College Draft, making her the youngest player to be drafted in NWSL history.

Her debut match in the 2021 NWSL Challenge Cup showcased her talent, as she scored a goal within five minutes of being substituted on the field.

Throughout the 2021 NWSL season, Trinity emerged as the Spirit’s second-highest scorer, leading them to the playoffs and their first-ever league championship.

Trinity’s achievements did not go unnoticed, as she was named the NWSL Rookie of the Year and secured a spot in the NWSL Best XI.

Additionally, she received the U.S. Soccer Young Female Player of the Year award.

Furthermore, she became the highest-paid player in the NWSL as of February 2022, signing a lucrative contract extension with the Washington Spirit.

On the international stage, Trinity represented the United States in various age categories, competing in tournaments like the FIFA U-17 Women’s World Cup and the CONCACAF Women’s U-20 Championship.
